Khambhalia has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 62%. Geography

Khambhalia is a very old city with old still damaged partial "Kille bandhi" (circled wall around the city for protection). You may find it on your way to famous DWARKA. You also have to go through its way if you are to travel Salaya (Notorious port ages ago).

There are some public places like Aradhna Dham (11 km away on highway to jamnagar), Ghee dam, Jadeshwar tekri (Actually Lord Shiv Templ), Khamnath (area in rivers way with some temples), Maa Khodiyar Mandir (Godess temple). Nagar Gate, Jodhpur Gate, Satvara Choro & Darbar Gadh (Main market) Betk Road, Station road, Char Rasta (four ways) are the main known areas of the town.

Khambhalia is famous for quality Ghee. Ghee is exported to various town and cities of whole India. There are many ground nut oil factories.in khambhalia 35 ground nut factories.&many oil mils famous for ground nut oil like Kishan oil mill,shyam oil mill, gujrat oil mill, saurastra oil mill. in khambhalia one item is very famous & it is jayant khatri's dabeli.

Industry for Wood Working Machinery are growing fastly in Khambhalia.

Colleges and Schools

The educational strecture has improved by some number of new schools. It also has a Commerce and Arts College. in khambhalia not very high education classes

It's a very peaceful city & second bigest town after Jamnagar city in the District.
