KXAC

KXAC (100.5 FM) is a radio station serving south central Minnesota with a satellite-fed syndicated oldies format from ABC Radio Networks. The station is licensed to St. James, Minnesota and serves the Mankato area and the Minnesota River Valley. The station is owned by Linder Radio.

The station went on the air in 1991 playing soft Adult Contemporary music, switching to its current oldies format in April 2001.

Linder Radio, a.k.a. Minnesota Valley Broadcasting Co. also owns KTOE, KDOG, KATO-FM, KXLP and KYSM in the Mankato market. Linder also owns Springfield-based KNSG (94.7 FM), which began airing the same ABC oldies feed as KXAC in July 2008, though it is run as a separate station. They also own KOWZ-FM, KOWZ and KRUE, which serve the Waseca/Owatonna area and whose signals can be picked up in parts of the Mankato market.
