Josef von Báky

Josef von Báky (1902-1966) was a Hungarian filmmaker. He was born in the town of Zombor, Bacska, in the Austro-Hungarian Empire (now Sombor, Vojvodina, Serbia). He worked as director or producer on no less than 48 films. He died in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. He was also known as Josef v. Baky and József Baky.

Baky's most well known film is Munchhausen, which was released in 1943 .
