Jonas Brothers is the self-titled second studio album released by the band Jonas Brothers, and their first album to be released under Hollywood Records. The album was released on August 7, 2007. "Hold On" was the album's first single, followed by "S.O.S." as the second single, and "When You Look Me In the Eyes" as the third single. This album was the first to be released using CDVU+ technology.
The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 with 69,000 copies sold in its first week. In its second week it slipped to #8, selling 41,000 copies. It fell further to #11 in its third week. The album stayed in the Billboard Top 20 the first five weeks of its release. On December 12, 2007 the album rose to #15, before slipping to #20 the next week. On January 1, 2008 the album fell to #22. As of August 9, 2008 the album shot up to #14 with 28,000 copies sold that week.
The album debuted at #16 on the Mexican Top 100 Albums Chart before rising to #9 on its third week, being certified Gold for selling over 500,000 copies. So far, the album has peaked at #3 on the main chart, and #1 on the international chart. In Latin America, the album has been certified Platinum in Mexico and Argentina, and Gold in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Central America, and Venezuela.
The album debuted at #9 on the UK Album Chart with 14,014 copies sold in its first week. It had the largest sales increase at the United World Chart on the 28th week of 2008 at #20 with 64,000 copies worldwide, due to the release of the new single "Burnin' Up" from the Jonas Brothers' third album A Little Bit Longer, as well as the release of the Camp Rock Soundtrack. It still continues to chart the Billboard 200 for its fifty-first week at #15.
The album also debuted at #20 in the Spanish Album Chart. It then climbed to #15 and was certified Gold for selling over 40,000 copies. Now the album has peaked at #5.
