Jillian's Entertainment, Inc

Jillian's is a restaurant and arcade chain with 16 locations in the United States. Jillian's is currently owned and operated by JCB Entertainment Corporation, a subsidiary of Dave & Buster's. Its slogan is "Eat, Drink, Play". Jillian's is located in many different cities of the country, such as Las Vegas, Worcester, Seattle, Memphis, and other cities. Jillian's is similar to its sister venue Dave and Buster's in many aspects.

Jillian's was founded in 1985 as a billiards club located near Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The club was "named" for a woman named Gillian, who was then the spouse of the establishment's founder. Within several years, the owners opened another branch in Seattle, Washington. By the early 1990s, it had become a competitor of Dave & Buster's, expanding its locations to include restaurants, video games, bowling alleys, nightclubs, and conference rooms. By 2000, there were roughly 30 locations in the U.S. and one in Montréal, Québec, Canada. However, in 2004, JCB Entertainment filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and sold 20 of their locations. Nine of these stores were sold to Dave & Buster's and re-opened under that name. D&B has refurbished part of these old Jillian's locations as the “Grand Sports Cafe”. Another company, Jillian's Billiards, was established to run some of the remaining locations, including those at Universal CityWalk in California and Peabody Place in Memphis, Tennessee. Yet a third firm, Jillian's Management Company, owns the facility at Neonopolis in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Recently, it began offering the same $15.95 “power combo″ that is offered at Dave & Buster's. Jillian's of Las Vegas is also used as a concert venue for local bands.
