Sarah Orne Jewett House

Sarah Orne Jewett House, built in 1774, is a historic house in South Berwick, Maine, USA. Sarah Orne Jewett lived in the home, owned by her family since 1819, for much of her life. She was a prolific author. Her work is of interest to historians for its perspective on the ways of life in rural Maine in the late 1800's and as early women's literature.

The house was declared a National Historic Landmark on July 17, 1991.
