Irina Moiseyeva

Irina Valentinovna Moiseyeva (Ирина Валентиновна Моисеева) (born July 3 1955) is a Russian figure skater. She trained at VSS Trud in Moscow. Her ice dancing partner and husband was Andrei Minenkov. They won the silver medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics, the first Games to include ice dancing. They also won the bronze at the 1980 Winter Olympics.

Moiseyeva and Minenkov were World champions in 1975 and 1977. They were also European champions in 1977 and 1978.

They were coached by Ludmila Pakhomova, Natalia Dubova, and Tatiana Tarasova. Tarasova coached them for ten years, beginning in 1969.

Olympic champions Torvill and Dean considered them one of their greatest influences.
