InCtrl5 is a piece of PC utility software for Windows computers, and is the fifth version from the InCtrl series. The utility software monitors the changes made a computer system when new software is installed, and enabling users to troubleshoot any problems that come up.

Seeing that virtually every modern program uses an install utility that installs or updates files; these utilities may also record data in the Registry and update INI files or other essential text files. It is useful given that a programmes' companion uninstall utility doesn't always precisely reverse the effects of the install utility, or when a newly installed program causes existing applications to fail, as the record of exactly what the original install utility did, provided by InCtrl5, allows users to restore their system.
