Iconcrash

Iconcrash is a band from Helsinki, Finland lead by vocalist Jaani Peuhu. Band members include Anu Tukeva, keyboard and backup vocals, Jesse Valo, bass guitar, Matti Toivonen, guitar and Oskari Vilmunen, drums.

Iconcrash's first EP was released in conjunction with the Finish band Viola in 2004. The EP consisted of a total of four tracks, two from each band, and was a joint release of Futurecords and If Society.

To date Iconcrash have released only one album Nude, which was released in the spring of 2005. Nude was released under Parole/Futurecords. Nude was mastered by Ray Staff. Ray Staff is best know for his work with Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Clash and Black Sabbath.

Iconcrash have also appeared on MTV3 and Radio Helsinki, as well as performing at the famous Mercury Lounge (4.1.2005) in New York with Something For Rockets and Viva Voce. The band has also been interviewed recently by Mad Eyed Moose Interviews and Eurobands.

Currently the band are working on their second album, the making of which is being chronicled on the blog Iconcrash:Enochican Devices The album is being recorded at Dynasty Recordings in Finland with the assistance of Antti Eräkangas.
