Iain Cook

Iain Cook (b.1974) was the lead guitarist of now disbanded Scottish band Aereogramme. He is a composer and producer, working and living in Glasgow, Scotland. He spends a lot of time writing music for film and television and he has recently completed a remix/arrangement of the Biffy Clyro song Machines for a B-side of the 7" #1 Vinyl

Equipment

He uses several guitars but mainly a 1971 Heritage Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul Custom and a 1977 Fender Telecaster Standard (black with maple neck).

He also uses an E-bow.

Effects pedals in order of signal chain:

Fulltone Clyde Wah, Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner, Keeley Electronics 2-knob Compressor, Boss BD-2 Blues Driver (Robert Keeley Modified), Electro-Harmonix Pulsar re-issue, Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus, Demeter Amplification Fuzzulator, Boss DD-20 Giga Delay and an Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb. Pedals are powered by Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ power supply.

He uses a Mesa Boogie Lone Star Special 1x12 combo amplifier.
