The ILOVENY Championship is the final regular season full-field tournament on the FUTURES Tour schedule and the results of this determine determine the final positions on the money list for the season. The top five earners of the season earn full playing privileges on the LPGA Tour for the following season. The next 15 players earn the right to skip the first stage of the LPGA tour qualifying tournament.
The Tournament is a 54-hole event, as are most FUTURES Tour tournaments, and includes pre-tournament pro-am opportunities, in which local amateur golfers can play with the professional golfers from the Tour as a benefit for local charities. The benefiting charity from the ILOVENY Championship is the Albany Police & Fire Foundation.
