Hoya

Hoya, city (1990 pop. 95,148), Tokyo Metropolis, E central Honshu, Japan, on the Shakoji River. It is a residential suburb of Tokyo and an agricultural center where raw silk is produced.

Hoya, Tokyo
Hoya (保谷市; -shi) was a city located in Tokyo, Japan.

The city was consolidated along with the city of Tanashi into Nishi-Tokyo. Hoya is also the name of a station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line.
