Honkers

Honkers

[hong-ker, hawng-]
Honkers are friendly monsters from the children's television program, Sesame Street. These creatures have horns instead of ears and their noses are bulbs that can be pressed so that a "honking" sound comes out of the horns.

They come in various colours and have appeared in the show since 1979.

Grandfather Honker is a dark bluish/purple-ish Honker with rather unkempt silver hair, a peachy-colored nose, and wire-rimmed glasses. He also has a furry moustache. He debuted in Episode 4067, and is possibly the first Honker to have a name.
