Herman O. Ruhnau (

2007) was a notable southern Californian post-modern
architect.
Herman Ruhnau was born in Santa Barbara and grew up in
Pasadena, California and eventually studied architecture at the
University of Southern California. He later served as an Architect in the Navy during
World War II. After the war he returned to Riverside where in the 1950's he founded the architectural firm now known as the Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke.
