Heaven Music is the largest independent Greek record label in market share that was started in 2001 by ANT1 Group. It is known for signing new and young artists.
Heaven has an exclusive contract with the songwriter Phoebus. He is known well in Greece for his work with many popular singers, most notably Despina Vandi and Katy Garbi, both of which he produced several multi-platinum albums for.
Heaven has been working hard to promote its artists outside of Greece. In 2002, Heaven began a collaboration with the the Ministry of Sound, a leading dance label in Europe. With the help of the Ministry of Sound, Heaven had its first success with Despina Vandi whose multi-platinum album Gia was released in not only Greece, but all over Europe and in the North America.
Heaven has showed a pattern of interest in new and young singers. It cooperates with contestants of the popular TV talent show Fame Story, the Greek version of the Star Academy franchise, and has signed artists such as Kalomoira because of it.
Heaven Music also has a digital distribution deal with all national iTunes Stores. As of late 2007 Heaven Music is physically distributed by Minos EMI.
