Heather Veitch is an
American former-
stripper who founded the
Christian Ministry JC's Girls in 2005.
JC's Girls is a ministry that reaches out to those in the
sex industry to share the
Word of God to them in a non-judgmental way. She is currently based out of
Las Vegas, Nevada and is working with
Annie Lobert of
Hookers for Jesus on a joint media project entitled "Saving Sex City."
Controversy
Heather Veitch's ministry is not without controversy. Some in the more conservative side of
Christianity see Heather's "sexy" image as
worldly. Heather and her husband have divorced. For some, this is believed to be
sinful. In response, Heather has stated that her marriage was over a long time ago. She has also said that while it was a hard and difficult decision, she knows that
God is working through all of it. In addition to concerns over the ending of her marriage, some conservative Christians believe that porn shows and
strip clubs are not places Christians should visit; again, Heather explains that she is simply going to places where she believes
Jesus would go.
