General Sir Charles Fergusson, 7th Baronet GCMG,
KCB,
DSO,
MVO (
17 January 1865–
20 February 1951) was a
British Army officer and
Governor-General of New Zealand.
Sir Charles was educated at Eton and Sandhurst.
Sir Charles' father Sir James Fergusson was a Governor of New Zealand and his son Bernard was also Governor-General of New Zealand.
Sir Charles was Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire from 1937 until his death in 1951.
