Haemogregarina

Haemogregarina is a genus of hemoprotozoans, parasitic mainly in cold-blooded vertebrates. It was described in 1885 by Danilewsky from the european pond turtle (Emys orbicularis). They are unicellular organisms which are parasitic in the red blood cells.
