of any race were 0.19% of the population. Greeley has one of the highest percentages of Irish-American residents (43%) of any town or city with a population of over 500 in the United States. The town was part of the Irish Catholic Colonization effort of Bishop O'Connor of New York in the 1880's.
There were 213 households out of which 28.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.4% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.9% were non-families. 39.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 23.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
