is a Japanese
manga created by
Naoto Tsushima based on
Ken Ishikawa's draft and notes after his death. It is a monthly serialized
super robot manga continuing the
Getter Robo mythos by way of the titular Getter Robo Hien. The first
tankobon, collecting the first five chapters, was published by Gentosha Comics. Eight chapters have been released and will continue to be released the 28th of every month in Magna, a low-resolution free webcomic, only to be printed in higher quality in further tankobon volumes.
Note: the official Japanese title uses Robot, with T, as seen in the logo of the series.
Plot
An old Hayato (the original Getter 2 pilot) leads the Saotome Research Facility, which has developed the Getter Robo Hien to combat a new force of plantlike monsters which seek to extinguish all human presence on Earth.
