Gail Buckner is a former Democratic member of the General Assembly of the U.S. state of Georgia. She was in the Georgia General assembly for 16 years. Buckner represented district 76, encompassing parts of Clayton County Buckner was a candidate for Secretary of State of Georgia in 2006, but lost to Republican Karen Handel.
