.Gahmar is made up of 23 "Pattis" or Sections, each of which is like a small village itself. It is Also called the Soldiers Village
since you can find atleast 3 soldiers from each home. There are many Ex-Soldiers who have served in the British Indian Army and have taken part in the "Second World War".
