Frïs Vodka

Frïs Vodka

Frïs (pronounced "FREEZE") is a brand of grain vodka distributed by V&S Absolut Spirits, part of Swedish V&S Group. The name originates from the Danish words for "frost" and "ice". This name is sometimes seen (mis)spelled "Fris" with the umlaut omitted in English, for which the alphabet does not contain this character.

Frïs Vodka is 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof), most commonly for purchase in 750ml glass bottles but can also be found in larger sizes such as 1.75 l, and even 50ml mini bottles. It is made in unflavored and flavored varieties, manufactured in Denmark using a patented freeze distilled process, and outside of its home nation is imported and sold in at least 11 countries.

These locations consist of the United States, Sweden, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Taiwan, and China.

At least two flavored versions also exist, Frïs Apple (billed as the only flavored vodka made with McIntosh Red apples) and Frïs Lime.
