The new complex, designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas, includes eight large pavilions with a gross surface area of 345,000 m² for indoor exhibitions and 60,000 m² for outdoor exhibitions; amenity facilities; office buildings; parking areas and a Milan underground stop which carries visitors right into the complex.
FieraMilanoCity continues operating in Milan following the opening of the new exhibition complex at Rho. It consists of the most modern and functional pavilions at the "historic" complex, which was partially closed in 2006, and continues to host smaller exhibitions with more limited logistical requirements, in addition to events that cannot be held outside the city.
