Falsilunatia pisum is a small deepwater species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Naticidae.
Distribution
This species is
endemic to
Australia's
Macquarie Island, south of
New Zealand.
Habitat
This species is found at depths of about 125
m.
Description
The thin shell is small, globose, and imperforate. The inner lip
callus spreads broadly over both the parietal wall and the
umbilical cavity.
Coloration is pale olive-buff.
The shell height is up to 3.5 mm, and width is up to 3.5 mm.
