Eva Birnerova (Eva Birnerová) (born August 14, 1984 in Duchcov, Czechoslovakia) is a professional female tennis player from the Czech Republic.

Career

Coached by Tim Sommer since October 2005, an all-court player who prefers playing on grass. Began playing at age 4 when father introduced her to game.

In juniors, Birnerova was 2002 European Champion in 18-and-unders.

In 2006, Birnerova won her first WTA Tour Doubles title in Stockholm, Sweden, along with Slovakia player Jarmila Gajdosova.

She reached the third round of the 2007 Australian Open Women's Singles draw, losing in two sets to defending champion Amelie Mauresmo.

On Jan 29, 2007, Birnerova achieved her career-high singles ranking: World No. 59.
