Common seahorse

The common seahorse, estuary seahorse, spotted seahorse, or yellow seahorse (Hippocampus kuda) is a species of fish in the Syngnathidae family. It is found in Australia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Micronesia, New Caledonia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga, the United States, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtidal aquatic beds. It is threatened by habitat loss.
