Elsenborn Ridge

The Elsenborn Ridge is a mountainous area in the Ardennes forest that is notable for its role in the Battle of the Bulge. Inexperienced American infantry units defended against the elite spearhead forces of the German Army, preventing them from reaching the Meuse River.
