Dagens Eko ("the Daily Echo"), commonly referred to as Ekot ("the Echo"), is a radio newsmagazine produced by the Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Radio. It produces longer and shorter news broadcasts that are aired on the channels SR P1 and SR P4 every full and half hour. The most important session is the fifteen minutes long 16.45-broadcast which has about two million listeners.
First broadcast on 1 October 1937, the programme was modelled after British and German radio news programmes. The name is taken after the German radio news programme Tagesecho ("Daily Echo").
