Eijirō Tōno
was a Japanese actor who appeared as the title character in the television jidaigeki series Mito Kōmon. He also took supporting roles in such films as Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo and Seven Samurai, Kihachi Okamoto's Kill!, and Yasujiro Ozu's Tokyo Story, not to mention Tora Tora Tora, a depiction of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
