EMMA is a German feminist magazine.

The first magazine Emma was published on January 26, 1977 with a circulation of about 200,000. Founder of the magazine was Alice Schwarzer. The name of the magazine Emma is a wordplay of the term emancipation.

Since its foundation, Emma is the leading feminist magazine in Germany; with Alice Schwarzer as its most important journalist.
