Drayton Green railway station

Drayton Green railway station

Drayton Green railway station is in the London Borough of Ealing in west London, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. The station and all trains serving it are operated by First Great Western. It first opened as Drayton Green Halt.

This station highlights the lack of integration in London's public transportation network. The station has no ticket office, ticket machine, or "permit-to-travel" machine. Additionally, the Oyster Card pay-as-you-go system is not valid for travel on this line, and Revenue Protection Officers on the trains cannot sell Travelcards. This combination of circumstances effectively criminalises all passengers who do not buy a ticket in advance elsewhere. Revenue Protection Officers are aware of this scenario and when asking a passenger to produce a ticket, the response "I boarded the train at Drayton Green" will excuse a passenger without a ticket. However, instances exist of staff being disciplined for exercising their discretion in this manner.

The typical off-peak service from the station is two trains per hour towards Greenford and two trains per hour to London Paddington.monera needs to get to west drayton station tommorow need help greatly
