Dorien Grey

Dorien Grey is the pseudonym of Roger Margason (born in Northern Illinois), an openly gay American author. Margason served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BA in English.

Grey is the author of the eleven-book Dick Hardesty mystery series, four of which have been finalists for a Lambda Literary Award. In addition, the series received a WordWeaving Series of Excellence award.

He also has a homosexual western/romance/adventure novel, Calico, aimed at young adults and traditional western buffs, and has just completed the first book of a second series to alternate with the Dick Hardesty series.
