Dexter Manley Bussey (born March 11, 1952 in Dallas, Texas) is a former American football Running Back for the Detroit Lions (1974-1984). He attended Oklahoma and Texas-Arlington.

• Considered a big back stretching 6-1 and weighing 210 pounds
• Led Detroit in rushing four out of five seasons
• Moved to the fullback position for the arrival of another Lions’ legend, Billy Sims
• Currently ranks third on the Lions’ all-time rushing list with 5,105 yards in 1,203 carries with 18 TDs
• Only one yard behind the second all-time leading rusher in Lions’ history, Billy Sims.
