Dennis R. Patrick
served as Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission

. He had been a member of the Commission since December, 1983, and had held positions in the Reagan administration since January, 1982. Patrick was only 35 when he became head of the FCC.
Before entering government service, he was an attorney with the firm of Adams, Duque & Hazeltine in Los Angeles.
Mr. Patrick graduated from Occidental College (AB, 1973) and UCLA (JD, 1976). He was born on June 1, 1951, in Los Angeles.
