American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity

American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE, formerly ABEC or Americans for Balanced Energy Choices) is a U.S. special interest non-profit organization dealing primarily with U.S. energy policy. The organization aims to promote both coal energy production and energy policy which promotes economic growth of the coal industry.

The ABEC was initially funded by America's coal electricity industry. The organization's name has since been changes to American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity.

The organization has run TV ads under the slogan of America's Power.

Supporters

ABEC includes big coal interests such as Peabody Energy, Southern Company, Duke Energy, American Electric Power, CSX Railroad and many others.
