Chris Tsangarides

Chris Tsangarides is a Greek Cypriot-British Grammy nominated music producer, sound engineer, and mixer. He is best known for his work with many classic heavy metal bands including Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Helloween, Black Sabbath, Anvil and another bands like Brazil's Angra and Yngwie Malmsteen. Tsangarides has worked with many pop bands as well, including Depeche Mode, Tom Jones, and Concrete Blonde.

Tsangarides began engineering in 1975 at Morgan Studios (later becoming Battery Studios) in London, where he assisted on Judas Priest's album Sad Wings of Destiny.

1999 saw a collaboration for Chris as a performer and writer with Shin Hae-Chul in the techno/metal act Monocrom, they made one album and did an arena tour in Shin's native Korea..

In 2006, Tsangarides opened his own recording facility, Ecology Room Studios in Kent, England.

In June 2007 Tsangarides entered the studio with the UK band LunarMile LunarMile's members include Toni-Marie Iommi (daughter of Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi) and Alex Hill (son of Judas Priest's Ian Hill)

Chris is featured in Sacha Gervasi's new Film Documentary "Anvil, the story of Anvil" currently doing the rounds of film festivals, out on general release in 2009..

Since 2006 has worked on albums with: Anvil, Mountain, Kings Call, Glyder, Ethan Brosh, Solenoid,The Delfins, Anthem x2, Biomechanical, Matt Mays & El Torpedo, Bitches Sin, The Haze, Dave Cousins x2, King Lizard, Cirkus, Breaker, The Strawbs, Blanco Diablo and Stray....
