Chris Paul, born on May 6, 1985, is a professional basketball point guard for the Los Angeles Clippers team. Christopher Emmanuel Paul was born in North Carolina and became a McDonald's All-American in spite of participating in just two basketball seasons in high school. He won a scholarship in Wake Forest University and after a stint with the Demon Deacons, he was selected in the 2005 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets.

Chris Paul has been chosen NBA Rookie of the Year in 2006 and has led the New Orleans Hornets team. Off the court, Paul is a skilled ten-pin bowler and has been part of many youth and celebrity bowling events held to benefit rehabilitation projects in Louisiana and charity work in Winston-Salem.
