Chany, saltwater lake, 1,280 sq mi (3,315 sq km), S Siberian Russia, in the Baraba Steppe, centered among the towns of Bulgar, Barabinsk, and Kupino.

Chany (Ча́ны) is an urban-type settlement in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. Population: 9,039 (2002 Census); 9,607 (1989 Census).
