Cathedral Parkway–110th Street is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 110th Street (Cathedral Parkway) and Broadway in Morningside Heights, Manhattan, it is served by the train at all times. Nearby is the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine. The express track that passes through the station is currently unused in revenue service. The station is among the best-preserved of the original IRT stations.
In this station on July 6, 2006, Tareyton Williams, an ex-convict, sliced 64-year old postal worker Michael Steinberg in the chest with two power saws he stole from a table being used by some transit workers. Steinberg survived the attack and Williams was arrested a few hours later after a fight with two people.
