Cantabrigian is a member (or former member) of the
University of Cambridge,
England. The term is derived from
Cantabrigia, the
Latin form of
Cambridge. The term could theoretically also refer to an inhabitant of the city of
Cambridge, but is less used in this context.
The matching word for Oxford and its University, often considered a rival with the University of Cambridge, is Oxonian.
