Calocaerus was Magister pecoris camelorum ("Lord of the sheeps and camels") in Cyprus. In 333-334 he revolted, proclaiming himself Emperor. Constantine sent Flavius Dalmatius to quell the rebellion, and Calocaerus was defeated, and afterwards brought to Tarsus in Cilicia, where he was tried and executed.
