WBXI (The CW Plus)
WBXI is the CW affiliate for Binghamton, New York. It is owned by CBS affiliate WBNG-TV, and is seen on that station's DT2 subchannel, as well as cable channel 11, as part of The CW Plus.
The station began as an affiliate of The WB, via The WB 100+ (a similar service to The CW Plus). It was announced on April 24, 2006 that WBXI would affiliate with The CW in September 2006, when The WB and UPN ceased operations. Initially seen only on cable channel 11, it was added as a digital subchannel of WBNG in September 2007.
