CENTRIM — the Centre for Research in Innovation Management — is an internationally-recognised centre of excellence in the field of innovation management.

This dedicated research centre celebrates more than twenty years' experience in the field.

Organisational structure

CENTRIM is one of four schools within the Faculty of Management and Information Sciences at the University of Brighton

This largest Faculty within the University:

  •  excels in traditional areas of business and information technology
  • increases expertise in areas such as knowledge management, business information systems, and electronic commerce
  • offers teaching and research within all areas of information and management.

Founded in 2002, the Faculty of Management and Information Sciences comprises:

In 2003 CENTRIM moved to the purpose-built Freeman Centre. This is home to two prestigious groups comprising over three hundred staff and students —
