The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) is a national body that "provides Canada’s federal, provincial and territorial health care decision makers with credible, impartial advice and evidence-based information about the effectiveness and efficiency of drugs and other health technologies". Before April 2006, CADTH was known as the Canadian Coordinating Office for Health Technology Assessment (CCOHTA).

Organization

CADTH is the home of Canada's Health technology assessment (HTA), the Common Drug Review (CDR), and the Canadian Optimal Medication Prescribing and Utilization Service (COMPUS). The programs of CADTH are funded by the provincial and territorial Ministries of Health (with the exception of Quebec) and by Health Canada.

Location

The main offices of CADTH are located in Ottawa, Ontario. There is also an office in Edmonton, Alberta, and individual Liaison Officers are located in most provinces.
