CCNet is the abbreviation of the Cambridge Conference Network, a scholarly electronic network with over 6000 subscribers as of 2008. CCNet is moderated by Dr. Benny Peiser at Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom. The aims of CCNET are to disseminate information and research findings related to:
- Geological and historical neo-catastrophism,
- Near-Earth Object (NEO) research and the hazards to civilization due to comets, asteroids and meteor streams, and
- The development of a planetary civilization capable of protecting itself against cosmic disasters.
