CAST Restaurant is the Restaurant, Bar and Deli attached to the Nottingham Playhouse. It opened in January 2004. It comprises a 50-seat restaurant, 3 bars, and outdoor seats. It also has a view of Sky Mirror.

CAST won the Central News viewer's choice award in the 2005 Nottingham Restaurant Awards.

It is regularly frequented by the stylish and famous, recent sightings have been of new up and coming band The Foals, We Are Scientists, Noel Fielding of Mighty Boosh fame accompanied by the actor who plays Bob Fossil (they like it a lot) and that guy from the channel 4 program skins. As well as famous actors such as Matthew Kelly's son, Matthew Kelly Jnr who was recently on a tour of America with his play Burial at Phebes. Sue Perkins, Samantha Morton, Simon Amstell, Curly Watts, Peter Barlow, a judge wearing red shoes from Strictly Come Dancing amongst many others have been seen drinking here. Cinderella and the Ugly Sisters frequented the venue at Chrismas. Rumoured to be making an appearance later this year... Aladdin and Abu!

Regularly used for photo shoots Late of the Pier, electro band were recently seen having a promotional photo shoot.
