. He has made a great contribution to working with young musicians. He has conducted the National Youth Orchestra, the Senior Orchestra of the Royal Academy of Music and regularly runs courses for young musicians.
Recent engagements have included a Millennium performance of Tippett's Child of our Time, Die Fledermaus and Feuersnot. He was one of a hundred musicians presented with a prestigious Classic FM Award at their 10th Birthday Honours Celebration in June 2002.
Adrian is currently the musical director of the [Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra, a small orchestra located in Surrey, South East England. In July 2007 he took up the post of Music Director of Southgate Symphony Orchestra, an amateur orchestra based in Southgate, Enfield, North London.
Adrian is also an occasional guest conductor with the Suffolk Sinfonia, an orchestra based in Bury St Edmunds in East Anglia.
He attended many camps at Piggots farm in High Wycombe and now conducts the Junior Camp for a weekend every year.
In 2008, Elgars Cocainge Overture and Sibelius 1st symphony were performed.
