Big Shanty Festival is an annual festival held around April in downtown Kennesaw, Georgia. It is located near the Civil War Museum, along Main Street. The festival is filled with many arts and crafts and has many games for kids to enjoy. The festival also provides many food and drinks for everyone. The Big Shanty festival also includes a parade throughout Kennesaw. The free festival attracts over 50,000 people from North Georgia.

History of Big Shanty

Big Shanty was first named Kennesaw, but then the city is now changed to Kennesaw. Kennesaw (Big Shanty) plays many roles in the Civil War. Big Shanty was the location where many things that happened when the Civil War was going on.
