is a restaurant
. Located in the Green Lake
area of Seattle, on Highway 99
(also known as Aurora Avenue), the restaurant is known largely for its "greasy spoon
" cuisine and is justifiably famous for its 12-egg omelette
It was featured on a Travel Channel program that showcased the best places in the country to "pig-out".
The 24-hour restaurant opened in 1954 and remains much the same. The restaurant suffered a small fire in the early 2000s, but has subsequently made a come-back.
